Romance Fire Starters
I was listening to a podcast called the Art and Soul of North Texas, hosted by Shelly Niebuhr (www.shellyn.com). This particular podcast was about the art and music of Julia Schloss, a long-time local artist. Julia is a multi-talented lady and it would take forever to fully sing her praises, but I wanted to point out one particularly fun and artistic gift she has created called the “Romance Fire Starter”. A Romance Fire Starter is a Harlequin romance novel with the cover torn off, triple dipped in scented soy wax, and then wicked for easy firestarting in your indoor or outdoor fireplace or patio chimnea. You can order them from her webpage at www.resurrectionart.com/artists/index.html.
What a great way to add some extra spark to a romantic evening as well as to recycle old romance novels!

Hey! Y’all,
I just googled romance fire starters to see what the results would be and I found this site.
I am very flattered that you even bothered to go and check out the advertisement. This page
was built several years ago. So much has changed with RezArt since then. I like the idea of a
couple meeting in that cute little room. When I’ve sold enough fire starters maybe I can pay
Chad Evans of InkFlix.com to design and install them. There is a little white cat that flits across the room if you brush over the plant at the back wall. Sorry for the disappointment that there is no hot muscle-y manly man there for ya! Buy some fire starters for your next camping trip, for your chimenaya, or for someone you love who lives in colder climes who has a fire place and the need for heat. And you will be partially responsible for the future hotties
who will inhabit that cool room!
Thanks for checking it all out, and for the comments. Sorry you felt robbed! Some day your Prince will come!
Bright Blessings,
Julia Schloss

hey evryone, Julia has a lot more than those fire starters. I know, i got the privelage of getting to be her son and seeing her blossom into what she has become with resurrection art. people laugh when they ask what my mom does and I tell them she is an artist and a dumpster diver. Their first thought is that she is homeless, but then when i explain what it is they are impressed and even more so when they see her site. She is really very good at what she does and I am very proud of her.

Hey everybody!!! I’m Julia’s oldest daughter. I have to tell you, I totally agree with Landon. I have sweated over many different projects with Momma over the last 25 years. Now, she’s finally got the oportunity to share her gifts and creativity with the world. It takes a truly special individual to take old, road-side throw-aways and turn them into something beautiful and useful again. She does it day and night. When I get the funny sideways look from people when they hear “dumpster diver,” I send them to the site. I simply explain to them that my mother is unselfishly trying to repair the damage done to our tiny planet in the last century through art and music and gtting children and young adults involved as well. Could you do that? Well, I know it’s hard for me and I’ve been in this with her from day one. She’s an amazing woman with spectacular things to offer. Please, visit the site and enjoy. Take a second or two out each day and try to think like Momma. Love, peace and chicken grease!!

Julia: We love the idea of Romance Fire Starters! The girls were just joking about the website needing a muscle man, but then again these gals are romance novel writers so what can you expect?
Landon & Jennifer: Your mom is multi-talented. We need more people like her on the planet. So pass it on!

Julia is a most amazing person… she does so care for the planet and all it’s inhabitants. It has been a pleasure to work with her and to create the art, music, and pages for the site. I personally had web site burn-out for the last year or so (having put so much into it) – but am returning now… having read the above threads, am considering putting some manly mens in that Romance room just to see how it’s received.
pEAce ya aLL!

Glad you’re back designing again! We love Julia and her webpage. I guess we love muscle men too.
